JEV BOARDEnter the board A talking board with a decision model inside
It doesn’t talk.
It spells.
Meet Ghost Jev. Ask the board a question, and watch a model built for choices find its voice one word at a time.

A replay of two exchanges. Asked “Hello?”, Jev chose HELLO with 0.86 probability over I at 0.13 and YOU at 0.01, and the planchette spelled it. Asked to move to YES, the game guided the planchette straight to YES.
A reply built from decisions.
Jev Board turns a non-generative model into a strange little conversation. The board does the talking; Jev makes the choices.
- 01
You ask
Give the board a question. Your words and the recent exchange become the context for its next move.
- 02
The possibilities narrow
The server prepares a small pack of possible next words. Each choice can lead to a different reply.
- 03
Jev chooses
TypeSafe’s Jev API picks from that pack and returns probabilities. It decides; it does not generate a paragraph.
- 04
The board answers
The planchette spells the chosen word letter by letter. Then the next pack opens, until the reply is done.
Under the floorboards
No hidden chatbot.
TypeSafe made Jev for typed decisions, not open-ended text. We use its Choice response to select from words prepared by Jev Board. That is the whole trick, and the fun of it.
Some paths, such as a direct request to move to YES, NO, or GOODBYE, are guided by the game. Ghost Jev is a character, not a supernatural claim.
A demo, not a prophecy.
